The chipper Skorpion 250 E is designed for shredding tree limbs, branches and trunks with diameter of up to 250 mm. This is a stationary disc model with a pneumatic blow-out system installed on the disc. Its cutting system consists of a disc with cutting knives sharpened on either side. The chipper is driven by 45-55 kW electric engine.
The chipper is equipped with such elements as a hydraulic driving system servicing the feeding rollers and driven by its own hydraulic pump, a lever system of the hydraulic divider allowing changes of the feeding rollers direction, and an electronic system of duty control protecting the machine against overload through temporary stopping the feeding unit.

Służy do rozdrabniania gałęzi, pni drzew o średnicy do 250 mm.
System tnący stanowi tarcza z 2 lub 3 nożami tnącymi (obustronnie ostrzonymi). Rębak napędzany jest silnikiem elektrycznym o mocy 45-55 kW. Zrębek wyrzucany jest przez obrotowy komin obracany o 360° w stosunku do podstawy.
Rębak wyposażony jest w hydrauliczny system napędowy rolek podawania materiału, napędzany z własnej pompy hydraulicznej.
Wyposażony jest w elektroniczny system kontroli pracy, który automatycznie zapobiega przeciążeniu układu napędowego, poprzez czasowe zatrzymanie układu podającego.
